Basics

How it works, what we can handle, etc.

It's pretty simple:

  1. Send us a message and make a request. If you don't know if it's possible, just ask us.
  2. Once we've confirmed your request, pay for it by purchasing Pay as You Go Request Credits or a monthly plan.
  3. We'll get started on your task and reply back as soon as we're done.

Practically anything, as long as it's legal and doesn't require us to physically go somewhere for you.

Some examples of requests:

  • "Can you call immigration and ask about extending my ARC?"
  • "My shipment got lost in the mail. Can you call the post office and figure out what happened? Here is the tracking information."
  • "Can you translate this document into Mandarin for me?"
  • "Please make reservations for this restaurant, for 2 people, tonight at 7 PM. Here is the Google Maps link. Okay ma?"
  • "My walls are leaking and I want to move! Please find me a flat for rent within walking distance of an MRT station, grocery store, and gym."
  • "I can't find tampons. Where can I buy tampons near me?"

We're your Chinese-speaking personal assistant, willing to do anything to make your life in Taiwan easier.

Yup! We're primarily located in Taiwan, but we'll phone, email, or chat with anyone in Mainland China, Hong Kong, or even globally for you.

Requests

How requests work.

Just ask us! You don't need to pay anything to inquire about a request, so go ahead and send us a message and we'll get back to you right away. We're able to do pretty much anything as long as it's legal and doesn't require us to physically go somewhere for you.

Our goal is to help non-Chinese speakers navigate life in Taiwan. Your requests should be in English, but can contain some Chinese words or phrases if they're relevant to the request.

At the moment, we accept requests via Facebook Messenger and Email. If there is another way you'd prefer to communicate, just let us know and we can work something out.

Sure! Just tell us what you'd like to buy, and we'll buy it for you and charge your credit card. To ensure your security, our assistants never actually see your credit card information, that's all handled by our payment processor. We can make purchases for you under $6000 TWD (~$200 USD).

It depends completely on the request. Some requests take minutes while complex projects could take hours or days. We'll try our best to forecast how long the request will take before we begin, and get your approval for anything that'll take a long time.

Payment

How to make payment, security, etc.

All plans include an allotment of Request Credits. Each Request Credit can be redeemed for requests that take up to 10 minutes of our time to complete. If your request is complex, it might take more than 10 minutes to get done. We'll estimate the number of credits your request will use before we begin work, and if it'll definitely take more than one credit, we'll ask for your approval before we proceed.

Absolutely. We take security very seriously. No one in our company ever sees your credit card information, and it is never stored on our servers. All payment information is handled by Stripe, our payment processor.

You can pay for Pay as You Go Request Credits, or subscribe to a monthly plan, using any credit card that can make international purchases. We support cards from over 135 countries.

Your purchases will be in US Dollars, so depending on your card's currency, a foreign exchange fee might be levied by your credit card provider.

Monthly plans: If you don't use all of your Request Credits for the month, they will rollover automatically to the next month as long as you're a member. That way, you can make requests according to your schedule, not your monthly plan.

Pay as You Go: Unused Pay as You Go Request Credits will expire 3 months after the date of your last purchase. But if you subscribe to a monthly plan before your Pay as You Go credits expire, your credits will be added to the first month of your plan, and rollover to the next month as long as you're a member.

Once you sign up, you'll see a Billing page on your Account Dashboard where you can upgrade or cancel your plan whenever you like. We'll never try to lock you into anything, or make it hard to cancel.

We're a team of university-educated professional assistants based in Taiwan. We're a mix of locals and long-term expats, so we understand how to get things done in Taiwan.

You'll get better results if specialized tasks are handled by trained professionals, so we'll do our best to find and hire someone to handle these requests for you.

We're primarily based in Taiwan, but we're a mix of locals and expats, so sometimes we like to go back to our home countries to visit family.
